Welcome to the website of Maheshwari
club
Maheshwari club was established 30 years back. The growing
activities of the club in cultural and social fields, attracted
large number of persons to it and the membership increased many
fold. Today the club has a membership of over 650 families
The club undertakes several activities to provide variety of health
care programmes for both rural and urban populace. Some of the major
activities are:

Free health check-up camps for cardiac, orthopedic, dental, ENT
and eye.

Blood donation camps in different parts of Delhi. -
Vaccination camps (hepatitis B, typhoid and pneumonia etc.) at
subsidized rates. -
Free acupressure, yoga, naturopathy training camps. -
Scholarship and financial help on recurring basis to students and
widows belonging to under privileged strata of society. -
To contribute in cases of natural calamities in any part of India.
In past, it not only sent material help but also sent a team of
volunteers to help the victims of floods to Mumbai, earthquake in
Gujarat and tsunami in South India. -
The club has a large store of household utensils and it provides
these to members and non-members at a nominal charge during
marriages and social functions. -
To preserve the cultural ethos of the society and develop
fellowship amongst its members, the CLUB organizes get-togethers on
festivals like HOLI, DIWALI, GANGAUR, TEEJ and MAHESHNAVAMI etc. -
The CLUB organizes various sports tournaments like table tennis,
lawn tennis, bowling, basketball, badminton and chess etc. for its
members. -
The USP of the CLUB is its annual cultural function VARSHA MANGAL
. The programme consists of dance drama, skit and other such things
wherein the members give their contribution backstage in organizing
or on stage by participating to make it a successful event.
