The club was established on 15th August, 1976 at the residence of
late Shri Hari Kishan Damani, M-17, Greater Kailash-I under the
aegis of its founder members, viz, late Shri Madho Das ji Mundhra,
late Shri Gopal Lalji Damani, late Shri Narain Dasji Daga,late Shri
Hari Kishanji Damani and Shri Narottam Kumarji Somani
Before shifting to its present permanent address: J-1967, Chitranjan Park, New Delhi owned by the club itself , it carried a
brief stint of its activities at 17, Anand Lok and D-2 NDSE II,
New Delhi respectively.
Under their guided patronage, the club grew by leaps and bounds and
achieved a new dimension. Today it boasts of an impressive
membership of over 650 families. The growing activities of the club
in cultural and social field is attracting large no. of persons to
it and the membership is increasing on a fast track every year.

Objectives
to inculcate moral, social and cultural values amongst its
members; to widen their mental faculties ; to increase sociability
amongst them through various events- formal as well as informal.
to be a part of the social fabric of the society in large by
organizing various events to raise funds ; to channelize these funds
to empower the weaker and the poor ; to construct and operate
educational institutes, public library, Dharmsala and guest houses.
to help handicap people in overcoming their handicap by increasing
their ability to function physically, mentally or socially better;
to construct institutes for them.
to create and offer job opportunities to the unemployed ; to
construct old age home for the old and needy.
to construct hospitals ; to organize camps for blood donation and
health awareness.
to adopt child-oriented policies for their welfare and to develop
them as a resource as a step towards nation building.
to organize cultural programmes involving the members ; to give
them a viable platform for their holistic development and to
generate a feeling of camaraderie amongst them through such
interactions ; to organize religious events and to celebrate all
festivals with great fervour and enthusiasm ; to organize debates,
sports` events etc.
to create awareness in the society about burning social issues, to
raise its moral standards and to get rid of social taboos through
awareness camps.
to promote literature and to have its own literary production-
printed matter, magazine , leaflets etc.
to materialize alliances between girls and boys of marriageable
age.
to take proper concrete steps to raise funds and to meet its
aforesaid objectives.
